The Webasto is the untimate in safe heating of confined areas like inside a caravan or camper trailer, tent etc. However you need to first get your head around the $2,000 price tag. I suppose if you are camping in extreme cold it would be money worth spend as there is nothing like being cold & not being able to warm up.
How to install a Wesbasto can be seen on the Around Oz website.
There is additional info on the Webasto on
Collyn Rivers website along with a warning on the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisioning.
Sitro will soon release the Portable Ducted Camping Heater – PCH500
page 21 of their cattledog which should be a big hit. At the moment it is being passed for Australian Gas Standards. The heater is placed outside while a gas heater heats a sealed box. The warm air inside the box is blown by a fan into the tent area via collapsible ducting. It all fits into a compact unit for storage. If I remember rrightly I think the price will be around the $200 mark.
Don't forget a couple of hot water bottles go a long way in your bed when caamping as well as
dressing for the cold
