I thought the car was 2003 but its actually 2005 built in June so its must be one of the last WJ's i think?
It is a Laredo 4.7 v8 non H.O, the H.O were to much over my budget (which was $5000).
So far everything works mirrors, windows, elec seats etc even folding mirrors.
The headlights are hazed and scratched so iv'e spent this afternoon cleaning them up with a lense restore kit, but there still quite bad i may have to get some wet n dry 1000 grit and work my way up from there.
Its doesn't have dual climate control just standard and the A/C is ice cold so thats good
Its is abit boat like to drive, maybe i just need to get used to it, it has aftermarket Nitro shocks front and back so it might even be lifted i dunno, does anyone know the standard height?

2000 grit rub in lines not circles , then use a buff wheel and cut n polish , they should come up clean really well as long as the inside is good.
feels like a boat ? check the back above the diff check to see if rubber bushes are good and the centre ball joint. also check the rear trailing arms and sway.

Hi guys so managed to fix the headlights and polished them up beautifully, i had to go down to 400grit to get the scratches out! They were really deep, then worked up too 600 - 800 - 1200 - 1500 - 2000 (all wet n dry) then used my lense restore kit pads and finally polished them and now they look like new, total time was around 2 hours each light.
Gave her some fresh oil (10w-30) and filters today, and now looking at a coolant change follwing a guide i found online.
Please could you guys tell me what spark plugs your using? Are they long life ones?
Had a look at the bushes they all seem ok, think i just need to get used to driving a 4x4 never owned one before.
I'm gonna post in the wanted forum but just in case anyone here has the bits i need they are:
Nudge bar
Rear drivers tail light (mine is cracked quite bad)
and Towbar

I actually find mine handles pretty well, quite a pleasure to drive around town. Nothing like other 4wds I was looking at at the time, such as Pajero's etc.
For parts like plugs, bushes, sensors etc, have a look on rockauto.com. Even with our exchange rate and freight if you've got a bit to order can work out much cheaper. And pretty quick on delivery.

I'm with Shane, mines pretty good to drive around town too, much better than other rigs I've driven.
Spark plugs are cheap here, other bits Rockauto is as cheap as it gets and quick delivery.
Post some pics of the lights, I go over mine every now and then too, they haze up pretty quickly again though.

Mine is a 2001 WJ and the lights were badly hazed and scratched. Nothing I tried worked so i bought a new set off Ebay.....just Chinese shit really and only up/down adjusters that don't actually do anything.
