Default Finding Dory in the USA.

My "drongo" wife decide to buy 2x adult and 1x child tickets to see "Dory" on line because they were only $10 each.
Unfortunately, she didn't realize she was on a USA website with a similar sounding location to what she wanted.
I immediatly calmed her down and explained that it was not the end of the world and to send Reading Cinemas in th US a contact text explaining. (Ended up she was so distraught that I had to do the first contact for her anyway.)
She very quickly got a reply asking for her phone number.
Yes, keeping in mind it was about midnight over there, they called her right back.
They without questioning anything, explained that it was a difficult transaction but would contact Reading Cinemas in Australia to have it resolved.
A short time later, The manager from Reading Cinemas in Melbourne called and said they would send vouchers to cover it.
Received a $50 voucher card in the mail 2 days later with a thank you for using Reading Cinemas letter.
So today we go see.........Ice Age!
A long site better service than we get in other industries, especially here in Australia.
I phone the US quite a bit for various business reasons. Rarely have the issues and disinterested attitude I seem to get here.

Nice story. That's the difference between our two countries. Over there they have a line out the door of people wanting your job so if you f up you're gone. In Australia no one would get off their iPads so everyone's "safe" in their jobs and does/says want they want to customers.

Wow, that's great, such good customer service.
I've been to the Reading Cinemas here in Adelaide, nice and clean, 10 buck tickets all the time and decent prices for food compared to the local Hoyts which is a total bloody rort!
