And a quick video, made this a while ago when I first got it on the road after the new exhaust, rejetting of the carbs and a tweak to the electrical system for a fatter spark.

Cheers
Steve

One last pic, from 'The Pie in the Sky' on the Pacific Hwy at Cowan. Was great to take it out almost complete and always fun having the oldest bike out there on most runs. This old thing is 30 this year

Cheers

Just a thought- when is Guzzi not a Guzzi- when it is a maggot!

Seriously Steve, I toyed with the idea of a maggot, then the minister of War and Finance let me get the ZX9R instead- no choice really!

As always though, love your work.

Funny thing is Honda built these to show that they could build a Guzzi but better, quite advanced with water cooling, shaft drive, cylinders twisted slightly to keep the carbs away from the riders legs and the gearbox spinning the opposite way to the crank to stop that lean that shaft drives get when revved

Compared to the Guzzis of the same vintage the CX was more powerful and a bit quicker

Oh and the speed record at Bonneville for a pushrod under 500cc bike is held by a CX, the Buells just cant keep up

Cheers
Steve

One of my favourite parts about it is, if my memory serves, that there is only something like 27 moving parts in the motor/box!
