I thought the wj/wg < still a wj in usa ) is in Fahrenheit.
Don't know or care about the V8 but if you drive a CRD like the poster then they are made in Austria for the Euro, Aussie, GB, SA etc market and are definitely calibrated in Celsius and 100 fahrenheit is only 37 Celsius so I doubt anyone would ever see any concern if it was mixed up that way.

just like when jags were first imported over to Australia where the thermostat was set to open at 106DEC ~108 DEC and when people shipped over to Australia and drove down the road and the things boiled there guts out , seeming that 100 DEC is the boiling point of water. and the reason for the high setting thermostat was due to ENGAND WAS COLD AS . so no wonder they would boil in Australia ? so that little bit of difference makes a big difference in a engine. so if sitting on half would the coolant be boiling ? and water be ? or whats placed into the rad . so all those dashes made in mexico be in Cel ?

With current coolants and pressurised cooling systems 100 degrees is no longer the boiling point of water or more correctly the boiling point of a modern cars cooling system. I'm not sure exactly what the CRD figure is but for example the boiling point of the cooling system in our Challenger is 125 degrees. It was about 5-6 degrees lower but Mitsubishi just did a service campaign update and put a new rad cap on that is a couple of psi higher and uppped the coolant concentration by about 10% and viola higher boiling point capacity. I doubt you'll find a modern vehicle anywhere that has a cooling system boiling point of 100 degrees. You are also unlikely to find a factory temp gauge that indicates that as you pass half way things are getting hot.

Regarding the fan control wiring : is it a digital one via can bus or a single analog line in which the voltage is controling to what extend to open the oil pressiour valve?

Regardless of the answer, any chance i could program the fan at regular usage to get into take off mode?
Btw - i did hook my android radio to the wheel control by hacking the can bus using a bt obd connection...

The solenoid is available separately under part number 05102210AA. Its Pulse Width Modulated controlled so it would be fairly difficult to manually switch it.

Mine kicks in at Full noise at 105c which is just a poofteenth over the 100 mark but the fan is running before this as with these hydro fans the valve opens to match the temp it isn't just closed and then opens.
If you are worried about temps getting too high aim for controlling WHY the temps increase, now if your cruising along the flat not towing and the temp is going up to a 100c then you have a problem with your whole cooling system.
If your dragging a van up a big hill on a hot day your temp will hit the roof because it will be the tranny thats boiling the kettle, thats why I fitted a V8 tranny cooler to mine and surprisingly on hot days (38c) up hill towing my temp is only about 5c difference from solo runs......I have a big hill which gets used daily.
