nice, before i start looking around do you remember where you sourced them from ? i think ill replace my unis as i think one in the front might be on its way out (could reproduce a similar rattle when the rear drive shaft was out and drove up the road in 4 high)

I bought the 6 uni's for my twin double cardan tail shafts from CBC, they generally have them in stock at least for the petrols anyway, I haven't replaced my axle uni's as of yet....

Put the adjustable track bar in today(thanks wooders) new ball joints, tie rod ends and changed front wheel bearings last week...
And finished painting the whole xj in bed liner, door jams done.
Now do I paint the boot area in bed liner?

Default What did you do to your XJ today ?

Swapped back 2 out of 3 solenoids in the transmission. Fluid looked real brown but didn't smell burnt. Found the reason for 2 speed...

The tab's welds had broken away from the body and was just hanging loose by the wire.

So now I have 1st, 3rd and 4th + TQ lockup, but back to the issue of holding 1st til at least 40-50 Km/h. Doesn't drop down either unless under 60 and it slams into 1st.

Sigh.
