Called the local dealer today, mentioned the recall letter she said can be done in March. I said so you have the parts, she says what's it for, I tell her and she says no we haven't been distributed these yet! She reckons I will get a second letter from FCA when the clock springs are in! Anyone else been told this story?

Default Recall: Clockspring

Sigh dealer had the jeep all day today for the clock spring recall. When I picked it up told that 'jeep have changed the parts for the recall' and it can't be done until new parts arrive. Sometime in the future they will call me when the parts arrive

I've had two recall letters and the dealerships still haven't got the part in the country. My second letter came 2 months ago. Still waiting.

Mine was supposed to get done when it was in last week getting the U & ball joints done but never happened as ended up not having the correct part.

Also news to me that replacement of passenger side air bag is part of the recall, Is this true ??

of which there are no parts available of coarse.

Yes, they tied it into the clockspring recall. Parts probably won't be available for years as millions of cars are affected all over the world.

Starting to sound like FCA sends out letter, seen as doing something, as by law I assume, but nothing really happens...
