looks nice but it doesn't look likekly to pass Adr. I think only the ARB,Mopar and TJM ones do as they are the only ones who have enough volume sales and cash flow to get the passed. That bar looks much nicer though.

For me it would be a pick between the ARB, AEV or Rugged ridge modular bar.. I really like the idea of being able to convert to a stubby bar when offroad.. But it doesn't look that great when it's the full bar..

Ok guys, dumb question for you...

I LOVE the new AEV mil-spec bar, but why is it described as "off road only" in all their marketing?

I assume it's something to do with the tow points fixed to the front of the bar... Does that sound right?

I really like this bar, but is it going to be more trouble than it's worth from a legal/ADR perspective?

cant see you having too many issues with that bar Tassie. It looks like it covers all the bases for ADR compliancy (eg tyre coverage, no forward facing loop etc) so i reckon the boys in blue wouldnt raise an eyelid personally

Didn't see it before, but this is a great bumper. !
Especially like the tow hooks... guess they won't fit on my "normal" AEV front bumper..

Could it be the bar is not Air Bag compliant ?

Send an email to AEV and see what the problem is!
