Leaning toward the AEV as I love the look, but just finshed pricing it up - didnt realise the winch plate isnt included... add it then freight and its over $2000... another $400 plus freight for the bash plate if you want it too.. Sheesh! Wont be able to afford the winch after that (the whole reason I was looking at front bars in the first place!)

Just looked into pricing it from Quadratec - $1500 AUS for the bar and winch plate, add freight at a guess $300 for $1800 total. Add 5% import duty for $1890 so far, then 10% gst on top comes to $2079 - which is more than it worked out to buy from Melbourne And thats with a conservative freight estimate...

TJM Carlton (Sydney) tell me my bar, which has been on order now for 5 weeks, and overdue by 2, is late because TJM just switched to manufacturing in China rather then QLD... presumably to save a buck... and it'll be mid September now...

interesting... could they be making the bars in china and finishing them up here so they can stick a made-in-australia sticker on them, or do you reckon i'm getting the run-around?
