Question I'm giving the Ryco RCC350 catch can a go

I was just about to head out to get the ProVent 200 ($319 here)

Researched a fair bit, because new products come out occasionally.

I haven't seen this Ryco RCC350 model. It's new. I'm giving it a go. Heading out now for it, instead of the Provent.

It has a media screen, unlike the old version.

Anyone here tried one? Personal experience with this model?

$179 Supercheap
$233 Repco

Interesting how guy in vid says do jot reintroduce gunk back to sump. No brainer there, even some do return it.

I searched ausjeep for this filter, and nothing comes up.

Possibly there is a thread, with details of it being crap

If I am the Guinea Pig, I'll let you know.

Full size ports
Low restriction to flow
Video shows good filtering of sludge
Could be on a winner

It's a relief to read that

The hose ports on the side are 22mm inner dia. Just measured them before.

Oh, and I am uploading my first ever unboxing vid now.

Stay tuned

I bought it this morning. Here's my unboxing vid.

I put it in vid form because a pic says a thousand words, video says a million

I installed it today. Went pretty well. I'll add pics soon.

Overall, I am pretty impressed with it. Time will tell. I'll log what it traps over the next few thousand K's, and put it up.

I didn't think I was going to do an installation vid I'm crap on vid, crap at explaining verbally.

I need a stand in actor

It's done a couple of thousand k's with it now.

Oil change due next week, I'll see how much it's collected then, and if it's got a bit in it I'll show you what I did.

Stay tuned
