Default Quad bikes - who's got one?

I have been thinking about getting a quad bike, just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers on what sort to get. Also would like to know what the licensing/registration requirements are?

I own a Yamaha Grizzly 700 with power steering. Switch between 2wd, 4wd and diff lock mode. I read a heap of reviews and felt that this was the best ATV overall. The Can Am has more power on the flat but has an inferior 4wd system compared to the grizzly.

Unfortunately in Victoria you can't register them so you can only drive them on private land.

Sorry for bumping, but I'm thinking about getting a quad bike (finally). Any updates here? Which one can you recommend?

I have 2 Chinese ones on the farm.
The plastic is crap!
For the price, they were ok.
Mechanically good, dont put E fuel in them.
