Fairly sure that CRDSTU has developed a lift kit for the Patriot.

I don't really care about fuel economy that much. Today I drove from Newcastle to Sydney and back and average fuel ranged from 9.1-10.8.

Didn't they drop the CRD from the patriot line up recently??

Compass, out side temp and a now massive 469Ks on the clock.

You can clearly see the back factory tint is so much darker then front.

Hello All

New to being an owner of a Patriot (still waiting on delivery to be exact) and was curious as to what others thought about the vehicle. Not had much experience with the Jeep brand nor do I know anyone to pick their brains over it. So lucky forum is my outlet for asking silly questions.

I had one yesterday for the day. Pretty comfortable car. Still built like a Jeep, had to hit the door trim to clip it back together as it popped apart when i closed the door, lol.

Was a 2.4L 5spd. Engine is a turd, IMHO. Gearbox is easy enough to use but gear ratios are long (only a 5spd, but has a lower than usual 1st and a much higher than usual 5th).

I think if looking at a Patriot, get the diesel. Don't be a tightass the diesel is a VW donk and is guaranteed to be a nicer drive than the petrol which I also think would get thirsty very quickly if not babied about like I was yesterday.
