Aux fan not working, but working, but kinda not? It's a Jeep thing

I suppose that could work? I don't know if the a/c control on the dash is based on the same concept of just closing a ground circuit or if it provides some kind of powered connection to something... If it's just a grounding circuit, then sure, no reason at all why that wouldn't work. You'd just have to look at the wires coming out of the a/c panel, more than likely one would be the same dark blue and pink if it's for grounding, but it may be a different colour, I'm sure there's a wiring diagram available for it either way. That would also give you vent air at the same time, which is how I always had it.

I kind of like this manual switch more because there have been SO MANY times over the years where I've wanted the aux fan on, but not the vent air in the cabin - now I have that choice. Choice is good!
