Your resistor board is gone and needs to be replaced. The fan speed is controlled by the resistor board and they burn out eventually. Its a common problem. Its not hard to swap out, and if you do a search here or on LOST you will find all the detail.

I assume you mean what Mopar call the Blower Motor Control.
There are a couple of options. Original Mopar ones (the same as the OEM ones) can be had for quite reasonable money from Morris 4x4.
However, the reputation of the units that were installed into the Sebring has better longevity and durability.
I hope that helps you with your search on LOST.
Papaindigo has done some very good posts advising me of the part number for the Sebring unit that is a straight swap in. It is more expensive and a bit harder for us to source here ata price and freight rate near what Morris 4x4 offer them for.
It is also worth having a look on U-tube for the how to - it can be a bit tight to replace.
Basically, the circuit works with maximum resistance to achieve the lowest speed (hence, the need for it to be on a heat sink and why it is in the air duct) as it is a panel of resistors that piggy-back onto one another the a lower you want the fan to run. AT speed 3 and 4 the resistance is very low so it gets maximum current. So to run on setting 1 you need all the resistors on the panel to be in the circuit.
Really inefficient but cheap.
Hope that helps you source info.
Auberon, thank you for the info. I just purchased the Mopar unit for $30 last night so we'll see how it goes. Seems the previous one lasted about 95,000kms so hopefully this one will do the same
Found the youtube clip , looks very easy to replace
