Is it possible to install a set of touring roof racks (storage of light items like tents, swags, sleeping bags etc) on a JK Wrangler?

soft top or hard top?
for soft the gobi is supposed to be good. for hard i dig the mbrp rack. takes some pretty decent weight.

anyone got the bestop version/ interested in knowing how these go? its one of the few that dont require drilling and dont cost >$500
intending on putting on thule type roof basket.

Garvin Industries Wilderness is really good and solid, but pretty expensive! I got em and love it. U will have to drill few hole thou.

yeah looked at those - not looking for somrhting permanent. just want to fit and load when needed.
