LED Light bar and ARB bar
Hey all,
Does anyone have a tidy looking install of an LED light bar mounted to the standard ARB winch bar? By tidy I mean low profile.
I have IPF spotlights at the moment and I'm sure they're not great for air flow. I'm thinking a slim 20 inch or so light bar mounted low might be good and give better light as well?
What brand have people mounted to this bumper? Are you happy with the light output and how did you mount it?
I have a winch mounted in my bar at the moment but i think the light bar would fit without issues

I replaced my IPF spotlights around 2 years ago with 9" LED spotties on an ARB bar with a winch.
I've never had a problem with air flow and mine works pretty hard on the beach as well as towing a camper.

tripple halogen narva 225's on an arb bar, no overheating in 10 years. I have a few mates with 20" light bars on hilux and tritons of the big red variety. They are good for close range spread but I don't like the colour of the light and the expense of not being able to swap a globe when they fail. Alsoo would want a good pencil or two in combination which then complicates things. My father has had the kings 9" leds and they throw a decent light for the price but after 6 months lenses are already going quite yellow.

Cheers for the feedback, I failed to mention my JK is a CRD...overheating is clearly an issue
I'm not saying the ARB bar is the issue, it's just these CRD's like as much fresh air as possible
I might remove the spotties for a long run and see if there's any temperature improvement before dropping more coin on a light bar

Yeah I run a 20" on the ARB but am going the opposite direction of yourself and swapping out for a pair of round. Rigid E2 bar in driving pattern and the output is awesome, used the U bracket for close to flush mounting. Still havn't got a winch in so can't confirm it will clear. If you are interested in a used bar mine is basically for sale now.
