Default Chief Rear Bumper Guard

Has anyone purchased this yet? I know chief are great products as I have quite a few on my GC but am I reading it right that that whole bumper guard is $1300?
Standard guard plus the deluxe add on?

Yep looks like you are correct. It appears it may fit larger exhaust tips in there as well as there is quite a gap around the factory exhaust tips shown.

Yeh rock rails are the same. I really like the rear bumper protection but $1300 is a bit much for my budget. Guess it is like a bull bar for the rear but not as much metal. Not bagging Chief as I am sure it is a great product but $700 would be better. Might send them an email and confirm.

rock rails i can understand and was happy to pay considering how many thumps they have absorbed already . But i cant see $1300 on the rear is going to pay itself off anytime soon . underbody and sliders sure, you get your moneys worth in damage absorbed . But how many ppl have ripped the rear off their GC ?

I know of a guy who has actually managed it a few times. Gets expensive, and the removal and refit is a PITA. Maybe he'll fess up with the running total so far?

That rear bumper guard has a lot of work in it. I wish it was cheaper too, but can see why it isn't... especially at the volumes likely to sell.

Cheers,
Steve

I agree with both of you. I have bent mine and put a large scratch on my tailpipe. Managed to massage out the bend in the plastic. Mopar tow bar is going on soon but I really like the idea of this just not the price.
