the ARB bars are a little steep in my opinion, specially since they are talking at around $750-1200 USD for them in the states.
Apparently they are getting their 1st shipment in the next week or so.

might even work out cheaper to get an Aussie made bar shipped back from the US!!!

how does that work out????

has anyone noticed the price difference between www.quadratec.com and www.customjeepwranglers.com for the AEV bar??

Quadratec have for US$1150
while custom jeep have it for US$799


That makes the Custom Jeep sourced bar AU$900 (before shipping)

oops, think I just work out why - the Custom Jeep kit is the bare kit (no hooks or winch plate....)

What does e-coated mean? They say "Comes E-Coated, ready for paint" I assume I'd need to pay someone to paint it?

That is a common misconception even amongst experienced owners.
The 4.0 shares nothing with the Hemi, it is an AMC design based on the block architecture of the Chrysler Slant6.
Just because both engines are 4.0 straight sixes does not make it so.
