Was washing my jeep on saturday across the road and was tempted but figured there wouldn't be too many interesting 4wding things to see. Was tempted though to go look at/talk to some of the tourism people from Tassie as i am planning to go there. I think the new Jeep Commander will be there too which would be interesting to climb through.

went there yesterday. If you went to last years one it's almost exactly the same. Did the see the new cammander though.... not a fan of it really... it's big though. Very cooshy and luxurious... i'd bee too scared to dirty it.

going mainly to get out of the house (and promised painting I didn't do on the weekend) and look at replenishing the camping gear.

tents tents and more tents... I think everty tent ever produced was set up there. All along the side of the racecourse. There were so many of them I couldn't believe that so many different ones existed. Regarding prices... not too sure didn't really look as we only bought our tent about 4 weeks ago and I didn't want to feel ripped off.

Went there today. As tropey said more tents than you could leap over plus all the other gear, tables, ice boxes, kitchens etc. Saw the new Commander as well, yep its big and square. A lot of the exhibitors have moved around from past years and if you want to enter the competition be prepared to walk from one end to the other. I like to look through the caravans then try and figure why two very similar vans from quality manufacuters are 20% different in price. Its also a great place if you want to check out tourisim information.

We went yesterday morning Brad and yeah, it was worth it. Oztent has some show specials as does Coleman with their tents. And yep, tents out the proverbial!
Pela and I both liked the Commander BTW...

You're supposed to get a "Passport" to fill out with ten stamps to go in a draw for prizes, one to a family. Saw many with 5 and 6 of them getting stamped. Crowds were more than I've seen in past years too.
