TJ: Kennys 97 Wrangler

Hey all im new to AJOR so i decided too make up a build thread for my Jeep.

All that's been done to it ATM is a snorkel, polly airs in the rear and some form of rancho adjustable shocks,
that were all done before i bought the car and ive fitted it with a GME 80 channel UHF

I'm planning on doing a 2 - 2.5'' lift with 1'' coil spacers
33" Muddys and a set of Pro comp wheels
6'' or 7'' Flares
ARB winch bar with WARN winch
ARB Rock sliders
ARB, Kaymar or Rugged Ridge rear bar with tyre carrier
Some sort of draws in the back for storage and a fridge

Any tips or info anyone can give me as id love to learn more

lol ive always been into cars and after buliding up my commodore then blowing it up im kind of over it and ive always been in to 4wheeling so i decided i would get one.

I've spent more then 10k on my Tj and it's still average. I would save up your money and go long arm straight away. Tummy tuck. Beef up your diffs and do ratios and you'll have been smarter and got more for your dollar than most guys that have done any work on their tjs on ajor.

One tip I can give you actually, in your pic you plowed into the water... As much fun as it is I would advice you not to do this.
I just had to replace all my fan pulley bearings, fan clutch, aircon pulley bearing. Not only this but you also run the risk of pulling your fan into your radiator.
It's not worth the five seconds of "wow that was kool"

Also you probably want to extend your diff/transfer breathers into the engine bay or in cab. Especially of you like playing in water

its my daily driver so it cant really be off the road and i dont want to go too over the top with it.
i just make it nice to drive but also good off road

im not really into extreme wheeling so ill be happy with the 2.5'' lift and a good set of muddys, less money needs to be spent that way also

yeah i didnt mean to hit the water that hard, the breathers have already been moved into the engine bay

Long arm is the best( from what I've been told) handling wise. As soon as you start lifting tjs they get worse and long arm brings it back if not better than stock. You don't have to go massive I think 4" is a standard long arm lift and you will be able to go anywhere.
If you put 33s you really want to regear so count for that in your budget.
