2016 is going to be 6 years old and probably have just as many issues. Maybe more depending on who owned it previously.

I have 308k kms on my XH CRD, brother has 375k kms on his XH CRD. Both lifted, wheeled, tow, and our daily drivers. I got mine as I needed more seats for my growing family. Bother has replaced oil cooler seals, I don't need to yet. Both going strong otherwise with regular servicing.

I am at a point where I've really come to love my XH, its so unique and well appointed in stock form an in conjunction with my mods I have no idea what is a worthy replacement despite its age. I do not know what 4wd that would have better power, 7 seats, decent interior, 3.5t towing, twin lockers, and can get 12.5 L/100km city/10L loaded on long trips while turning 33" tyres.

But you gotta go with you gut/heart.

Check out my Ride(s)
Default

Wow only 180,000km, mines got 350,000 and still tows 2.5 ton van great.
If you get a newer 4x4 it will have a DPF and all the fuel wastage and dramas that can go with it. Toyotas have had heaps of problems with DPFs, ask old mate google.
Wish my WH was such low kms .
If I lived a bit closer to your home town and you do sell the WH , I would be thinking is it time to up grade??
