Nutserts are very strong if used correctly ie in shear not in tension , in tension they will pull out.

I have used them alot in switchboards and substation boxes years ago and they can be a bit flimsy, possibly the best way to mount to chassis is to drill right through to other side and use crush tubes and plates.

lol, i didnt believe it at first either, until one of them came loose.
nutserts are what jeep use to bolt up the transmission cross member, and the transmission.

question, have you had the jeeps weight on them yet?

(lift installed yet?)

I haven't had the Jeep's weight on them as yet (pivoting). And no mate the lift isn't in yet - I plan to do it in the next few weeks at the tail end of my holidays.
