Hahah thanks mate. Ground clearance isn't the worry, at the start of the ramps and then right at the end the gaps are a bit oversized and wheels tend to drop in and get cradled. So if I can just wind it over I should be fine. But I like your thinking, it's just another way of me selling the idea to the wife that I NEED lift
Again should be less of a problem as the jeeps overall wheel diameter is a bit more than a road car

Seen bigger diameter rims on a lancer than these things...I'm not used to a vehicle that classes 31" tyre as big But alas, the battery was dead flat anyway. But luckily had a downhill run so she rolled most of the way on the trailer then just a little grunting got it the rest of the way on. I'll charge the battery tonight, plus I have a list of jobs around the house for the wife that I have to finish before I'm allowed to play .
Good work & have fun. Oh and a 225/45/18 is still only 26" diameter. 255/65/18 are 31.1" diameter but don't think they will be fitting on any Lancer too soon
