Default MJOC Jeep Muster 2011

We have changed the Jeep muster 2011 - it has moved to Queens Birthday long weekend

5th Annual MJOC Jeep Muster and MJOC Birthday

All level of trips Friday 10th June 2011 - Monday 13th June 2011

Trips will be - Strathbogie, Mt Samaria, Eildon, Jamieson, Sheepyard flat, Corn hill, Mt Terrible, Mt Skene and much more

The muster will be based at:

Bonnie Doon Lakeside Leisure Resort

18 cabins - first in best dressed from $80-$130 per night - Call park on 03 5778 7252 for bookings

Lots of powered site for caravans and camping

We will have camp kitchen for Camp Jeep for the weekend

Saturday night catered function will be supplied for all members in the conference facilities

More details will follow once Sponsors and supporters are established

This event will be MJOC members booking for this trip is all you have to do - all other 4wdvic affliated club members would be welcome to join us for the weekend - contact Ronelle on events@mjoc.org.au or Rob Sharp on operations@mjoc.org.au for inquiries.

lots of on site activities and lake activities available whilst not 4wding

MJOC Muster 2011
Boonie Doon Lakeside Caravan Park June 10- 14th 2011
Friday – B grade Night drive – 4 cars
Saturday - A grade Strathbogie 6 cars, B grade Strathbogie 8 cars, lake cobbler c grade 10 cars, Ned Kelly C grade 8 cars, 6 cars to Jamieson brewery and The papp’s and 4 cars 101 training.
Sunday – A grade Strathbogie 4 cars, B Grade Jamieson 3 Cars, Lake Cobbler C grade 10 cars, Mt terrible C grade 8 Cars, Eildon C grade 6 cars, Crystal creek/cheviots tunnel D grade 10 cars. Then a Night drive to Gough’s Bay C grade 6 cars
Monday – B grade Srathbogie 8 Cars, C grade Eildon 5 cars, D grade Cheviots Tunnel 6 cars.
Summary – 17 trips and 110 cars on all these trips, 53 individual cars participated.
Plus a Huge Spit roast on Saturday night for just over 100 people
plus enough food left over to do it again on sunday

We had 2 campfires that burnt all weekend – allowing for great campfire chats
What a great muster – I think it was the best we have had.

Looking forward to next year

What a fantastic weekend!
Congratulations to all the MJOC Muster team who worked many, many, many hours to make the weekend happen so succesfully. And to organise such great weather also as a bonus. Great video from DBOR too!

Here's a pic of the high country trip on the Saturday - meant to 4wd around the huts it seems Parks Vic seemed to have their wires crossed about what was open on ski season opening weekend.... This picture was taken before the trip turned from 'fine' to scary for those noobs.

We got back hours later than scheduled.
