Default Is there a difference between rhd and lhd fan clutch

hey guys, going to replace my tired old fan clutch and looking at adding it to my rock auto order, however just wanted to confirm that there is no difference between the fan clutch on the US LHD models and our RHD models? I only ask as there are some listed as 'reverse rotation'..

Cheers

Your question was regarding a fan clutch, if I understood the title correctly.
The mentioning of "reverse rotation" refers to the waterpump, not the viscous fan clutch. The clutch is not "directional", the wp is and that relates to the different belt/pulley setups. See the current thread about waterpump replacement for some more info I put on there.

Stop calling your car a "she". It's a car.

Yep, regarding a fan clutch however I have done some reading and if I understand it correctly, a reverse rotation waterpump also means that you have a reverse rotation fan clutch as well due to the routing of the belt causing the pump and fan clutch to turn in a counter-clockwise direction as opposed to clockwise. In the states some older cherokees had standard rotation and some had reverse rotation. I am ordering from the US so I wanted to make sure that I am getting the correct version of the fan clutch, which looking at my xj I believe is reverse rotation.

Thanks for all the replies

Cheers
Josh
