anyone been up bullock link and seen the state of the bog holes after the gates re-opened in November? as at the end of the season last season the "bypass" to the side and up/down the hill that lets you go around the infamous bog holes was a winch out situation due to it itself becoming a decent bog hole. wanted to know if anyone has seen it in the last month or so

peace.

im covered in that department

although I did leave my sways on winching out of the bog hole one time, hyper extended the sway bar, links wrapped over the drag link and tie rod... lol

I can walk up the rock section but the bloody bog holes, there needs to be a bypass re built coz getting out of one of those is not my idea of fun anymore.. think i'll take the chainsaw along :P

cheers for the reply

haha very nice

yeah its bit of a bitch

i drove it let me think last year after tracks openend up so like december, it was pretty dry,

almost drove the rock steps with heaps of packing and had to winch the last step

already late in the day and getting over it, others had left so we were on our own

i managed to drive the bog holes coming beside the steep down hill bit and sneak between the middle up high of the lower big deep one on the left and the meduim depth one on the right,

but it was dry then, now there all pretty deep

Just thought I would bump this one up again.

I'm heading out to bunjip in 2 weeks and wondered how things are looking and if/what might have been graded.

Any track recommendations for medium/ hard?

I went out week before Christmas and it was all really dry

a stock JK could do all the trails we did except perhaps for bullock link

Robertsons creek fire trail - steep rocky sections in the tarago forest section, slippery and steep if wet - medium (although still graded double black diamond, must not have been changed since the grading last year)

Gentle annie - yawn - easy (some fun little rocky sections that all have bypasses)

tea tree - yawn - easy

rocky track - yawn - easy

bullock link - door sill deep bogs (all of us had to winch out, really sticky), wheel height rock ledges, ruts that scrape the diff on 35's, no bypasses anymore! - v/hard!

we didn't have time to do andersons track, that's 'spose to be quite hard atm (ruts)

hope it helps
