Default Navigational Aids - TomTom etc.

I currently contemplating the purchase of a Tom Tom Go 720 for daily driving purposes, does anyone have any opinion's on these or similar navigational aids.

Are they any good - Pro and Cons?

For me, it must be simple to use and have bluetooth connectivity.

Cheers

FC.

i can also recommend destinator 6 as a good PDA based gps software

also chilli you can then also get a copy of oziexplorer for PDA and run it in offroad mode

I have the tomtom 500. had it for a while now and have just recently updated the firmware (free download from the site) and the latest australian map. The map cost $150.00 from the tomtom website and comes as a download. The only problem i can see is that the firmware updates are mainly for overseas countries to use. ie tomtom plus can automaticly divert you route through traffic jams if u have this option and a compatible mobile phn. When i set the tomtom up with my mobile phn it would not recognise any of the australian phn networks.
