As mentioned earlier, my earlier purchase failed so I've been looking at a replacement. I'd be inclined to buy a device with Android rather than WinCE as i'm of the opinion it will provide more software/mapping options in the longer run.

They still seem a little over priced at the moment though.

I'm also very interested in buying something like that for my 2000 WJ. I mostly need GPS, handsfree Phone and Multimedia.

Is there an online store dedicated to these products? I've been searching but there is nothing relevant and a part from the two models posted by ItsAJeeper there is no way I can find a list of products installable on our truck.

Did anyone buy one of these that and can make a recommendation?

Thanks

There are adaptor plates out there (single DIN) i had one in mine. and you would need an adaptor to retain the steering controls.

As mentioned with the adaptor any single DIN unit will work or if you dig around ebay or look at the links itsajeeper posted above you will see the proper Jeep fitment versions as well.

Yep, I have a single din adapter, works fine. But do like the look of those jeep specific units.

While I don't have the steering wheel adapters, I know they make them for most new head units these days.
