I'll just run a standard coupling to start with, it'll be a 4 hole bolt on one so eventually I can change to a Treg when the money is available

Cheers

Budget was on my mind as well when I purchased the OBriens Off Road Hitch rated at 2500 kg. Got mine from Carac in Dandenong for $186.00 from memory.

Or build your own like I show. Rubber is a bit expensive that big but I still have a block already punched.

Final design, time to start making it now (well in a few weeks anyway). I slimmed the frame down which dropped 40kg from it. I hope to have the whole thing under 500kg excluding tyres. Also added some commercially available windows, ups the cost a little as they are $160 each but they wind out and have fly screens on them as well.

Also made the lower part of the tongue box accessible externally (may end up being a vented battery box) and the top part internal for somewhere to put the keyss and wallet etc.

Cheers
Steve

Why the odd shaped door on the side? Is this because you have to use something already made that is not the right shape?
