I have a high db stubby top that came with the main antenna - I'll bet that doesn't move around anywhere near as much....not that its a lot of vibration, but you can see it.
A rear mount wouldn't be bad with this antenna, with our plastic roof not blanking it like other model 4WDs would.

Was thinking to put mine on the spare tyre carrier and use some elastic to hold it relatively taught, along with using the 3rd brake light as a back stop to avoid it whipping back onto the back glass...

As promised, some photos!
First one you can see where it "locks" and second photo you can see where the bend in the tire carrier with the right sized shovel, stops it from sliding further down as well. Pretty perfect fit!

Finally sorted some mud flaps for my JK! Now I just need to make them easily removable. I need some pins similar to those used for the teraflex removable mud flaps, does anyone know where I could get such a thing?

Things I did to my JK... Does selling it count? This is the picture of the beast being driven off by the new owner, I'm sure he will have a ball in it, I know I have!!
I'll be going on hiatus for a while... Wishing all you Jeepers the very best, take care and make sure you are enjoying your JK's for what they are, weapons of mass distraction
