It's already one year into it's depreciation cycle so it's had it's biggest loss whereas the '11 sport will have that when you drive it off the lot, hence the two at the same price.

The ratios, the rubi has much better ratios than the auto sport, better for off-road and now on-road. The manual rubi has 4.11 in the diffs and 4.1 in the transfer case, whereas the '11 autos have gone away from the 3.73 that they were previously and are now 3.21 in the diff and the transfer is 2.72.

Resale, a higher specified vehicle will always have a higher resale than a lower specified vehicle.

Capability, the rubi comes with diff locks and an electric disconnecting swaybar, you'd have to spend thousands to make up the difference with the sport.

make sure you ask the dealer for an additional transmission cooler if you are getting the auto regardless what year. This is the most important mod.

rubi for sure. 44, lockers, and rubi low range make it more than worth it

If it has a towbar the cooler should already be on there as it was part of a recall. I don't have a towbar but do a lot of sand driving and they put one in there for me.
