Default Overland leather dash lifting

Hi all
Have a 2012 Overland crd that the leather is lifting from dash, have spoke to my local Jeep dealer and they are going to inquire if they can fix or not as vehicle is not in warranty. If not any ideas about replacing leather, have spoke to local interior repairers and won’t touch because of air bag.

Thanks

It is fairly common unfortunately.
Have read alot about it happening, but they were all fixed under warranty. Which I'd assume, would be replace the dash.
Good luck.

Will let you know once done. Need to book it in for a service.

Fully photo-document the condition of all adjacent trim components. My first MY14 was brutalised when the dash was changed under warranty. It was heartbreaking to see upon collection...

Heard back from my local service centre in regard to dash, informed FCA will not replace and given a price to supply and fit of $5,600. Does anybody have any ideas. Should I contact FCA myself, how hard is it to remove dash and take to vehicle leather upholstery shop to replace leather. Local wreckers has a dash for $880 but still need to remove mine and install other one, if I’m going to do that might as well get mine re leathered.

Thanks

I would definitely have a look at the wreckers dash, at least you will be able to see how to get it out, before you tackle yours.
