Maybe. Should exclude hooker situations where you pay for 30 minutes but only get 3 minutes of action and no massage afterwards. Yes it is a rip off but technically it is the buyer's fault.

was quoted $450 for ONE tyre pressure sensor. got it for $42 from the US along with the other parts.

Quoted $3200 for labour only to replace the clutch on a tj.

This is going well. Anyway my father in law was told he had to replaced eng management computer in his Commander to rectify the ongoing limp mode issue. His quote (from the stealer at Nepean PEEJ) was $7000.
He got one from the Central Coast for $600.

Anyway my quote for the $850 tow bar was beaten by $400 by another Hayman Reece fitter. Glad I shopped around!
