On the front left door frame is a sticker from the factory with the vehicle VIN number - Date of Manufacture 10/96. The plate in the engine compartment says - 02/98. What do I actually have?
What does the manufacturers tag attached to the body, left side below the front grill state? It should be on the left as you face the grill, below the plastic 'jeep' cover (if still attached) which hides the swaybar.

Hey Wooders my mate has a jr and dr jeeps tj is a 96 tj.... But I think they have problems with most parts bit being listed for it or something like that.

People confuse model year with build date or compliance date.
