After taking to JAG811 up in Cairns we have decided to do a run up to the tip (Cape York) in June 2014. Its open to anyone with a CJ Jeep but we might bring a couple of others along to carry some gear (a CJ doesnt carry much lol)
Please post here if your keen. Ive done the trip before and you can make it as hard or as easy as you want.
After speaking to Jon a little more we are going to work a little harder on this. As im a scout leader and he works in the area of safety we are going to use this trip to promote and raise money for Child safety with 100% of donations to be donated to charity. We have lots of details to work out yet but we need cars, expressions of interest and of course, sponsors and donations. Jon is setting up a web page and we will look into some legalities to ensure its all kept above board.
