Hi all, My name is Nigel and i'm finally admitting i want a Jeep!, getting all sorts of crap from family and friends but i'm just sick of trying to talk myself into a Triton or Hilux. Just here to soak up information and tips about all the pros and cons before i make the jump.

I've owned 2 Hilux's in my life and both were the biggest lemons I've ever owned. When they were on the road, they were as boring as a batshit to drive and expensive to buy genuine parts and accessories for.

I'm on my second Wrangler at the moment and have never had an issue with either. There is massive aftermarket accessories support for Jeep both here and in the States and practically everything you can buy for them is just bolt on.

Both my brother in laws own Colorados and used to give me heaps until I pointed out that their vehicles run the exact same 2.8 diesel as the Jeep. That, as well as having to pull both of them off the beach silenced them quickly.

There are plenty of threads on here from people in the same boat as you and most ending up purchasing a Jeep of some description so spend a lot of time reading up.
