Default Moving to Coffs!!

Well the house sold really quickly (2 days n the market) so we are moving to coffs in the first week of December.

Have rellies in the area so know some of the easy tracks from when we visit but I'll definitely be looking to hook in more often once down there. That and enjoys some nice ocean again!!

Ok all moved down now and in the rental until we find a place to buy/build.

There is the Rover Trail just a hundred metres up the road from my place but it looks nasty!! Took the dog for a walk up it. The first 100m or so is rutted/steep and rocky. Gonna be fun when I get the guts to give it a shot!

I'll have to have a look at the local mechs in the area and find a good one that knows XJ's for the pit stops required to transfer the rego over etc.

Ok now that Christmas is over with I'm looking to getting out and about.

Is there a Coffs Jeep club? I've done some googling but that last thing I found was from about 2012.

I know the Jeep Action crew are based here (I think) and I'll definitely be sorting out access to Camp Coffs this year! But other than that the only other 4x4 club I can see isn't jeep specific. Not an issue but sometimes you like to spend time whit like minded nutters rather than defending/clarifying your choice of vehicle.

Also do any of you know good mechanics in the Coffs area as I'll have to go over the pits etc to swap rego over and it would be nice to get someone who knows jeeps and their 'quirks' etc.

Cheers

Members of the Coffs Coast Jeepers club are the trip leaders for Camp Coffs every year and Michael Bowen (Jeep Action magazine editor) runs the Jeeps Are Us workshop in town. Hang your head in shame for not knowing any of this. :
