Probably waste gate jammed stuck or actuator line came off.

Might have found the reason for my slight little stumble on idle...
One of the wires on injector#1 plug damaged/worn(the green wire)....had a quick look but can't see if this 'housing' can be taken apart to strip the wire and re-attach?
Can this be done?

I know of a few Patrols that have detonated like that!

ok, did 700ish kms today
Flogged the poor thing too
No running hot and even when it gets too 105, the high speed fans cut in and it cools very quickly
Finally a win.

Can this be done?

Once you pull the plug apart you can look down into it. It should have a plastic piece that you can pull out. Then you can push the wires out the back. If you have the correct tools, it's actually quite easy. The hard part is marking the wires to ensure you put them back in the correct spot.
