There's a real small area i've been to in the last 2 days. Probably only about 5-10 acres but mud everywhere. It's located at Marsden.

I CANNOT GET THE MUD OFF every time i go here. It's used by motorcross guys so it's basically a big muddy paddock good for sideways fun. It's that thin, slicky, sticky smelly clay type in a mudflat. I got 3 inches of it on the roof alone. I will have to wash it 5 times to get the mud off. I reckon if you're game, take a look at ormeau. If you're game...

Well for offroad mud there's
Spring Mountain
Springfield
Heathwood
Ormeau
Canungra
Mt Cotton
Ripley

Depends on how much time you have. All of these are about 30-40 mins south from the CBD.

But Kyro, why the mud when you've got the beach on your back doorstep?

By the way, for a full day you can't go past the Condamine Gorge track which follows the Teviot Brook. When it rains here, there is mud for 20 klm straight. As long as you're not afraid of river crossings you'll be ok in a convoy. Down past Boonah this one.

CJer is right, spring mtn or springfield are good for night runs. I've not seen any cops but a lot (most) is private property. Ormeau, Canungra and Mt Cotton are your best bet.

Check your refidex for the following:

# Venor St to get into Ormeau, there are another 3 entrances also;

# Go east of Canungra for about 3-4klm and where the Binna Burra turn off is, it's right there on the right - an old quarry;

# Heathwood is at Browns Plains near Grand Plaza Shopping Centre. Go down Johnson Rd and turn right into Paradise Rd (dirt road) on the right is a small area (about 100 acres that leads back to Mt Lindsay HWY) or go over the bridge and immediatly on the left is a track that leads to motorcross paddocks etc. I've seen coppers here but i have just driven past them. They are mostly after unreg dirt bikes or the wrangler is too fast for them...

# Havn't been to Mt Cotton but i'll find out more...

# Ripley, head towards Jimboomba and go down Teviot Rd and follow till the Flagstone round-a-bout and turn left, follow till you hit the dirt and go 300 metres and turn right. Take the next right and you've got a dirt rd that will take you to ipswich in about 45-50 mins. This track has quite a few tracks leading away from it. Some are very challenging and a few lead onto private property. A few lead back into Spring Mtn and Springfield. After rain there a few water crossings. Not much here considering the long drive just to get here.

For the most fun, Ormeau.

Cheers!
