hey Reyzor,
I havent seen a split seat for the JK but i was looking at my daughters Feroza and its split rear seat......maybe with a little mod they may fit!

cheers mate, i might just heve to bite the bullet and get a roof cage for it sooner then i wanted to....the joys of owning a 2 door,....i wouldnt swap it though

Yes, it's like owning a ute except you can say "no problems I'm busy that weekend, come pick it up and bring it back with a carton of beer" and you don't have to worry about it being out of petrol when you go to use it afterwards, just all the tie down ropes will be missing, so never lend it out with rope.

You should be able to pick up a cheap bucket seat for peanuts just try find one that has nice flat mounting plates on the bottom or make a complete new base to hold both seats so you can leave the base in all the time and remove either seat easily without having to get under the vehicle. Match the height to the existing seats so passengers don't hit their heads.Passenger side ones are usually cheaper than drivers side too. Just ask the wrecking yard what they have too many of.

You could contact one of those companies that does third row seats for Falcon and Commodoore wagons and see if they could do something for you.

These guys do one that looks the goods although it looks like a quick google of dickie seats shows that they are only for children and usually have a max weight rating of about 40kg or so
