Default Idler, pully etc

Hi all,
We have a 06 KJ diesel. Where is the best place to buy a driver belt, pulley and idler? Jeep on the Gold Coast have quoted $1669 for these parts, sound a little over the top.
Its our time chasing parts for so it came as a bit of a shock.
Cheers

Try ID parts in the USA. I bought mine from them, Around $700 for belt, tensioner, idler pulleys, gasket, water pump and serpentine belt. Should have bought the serpentine belt tensioner also.. I presume you are talking about the camshaft drive belt and associated goodies.

Default KJ Parts

Hi,
I have bought some parts from allmoparparts.com as well as wholesalemopar.com out of the U.S. even with postage the prices are way cheaper than anything local.
If you have a search around here there has been plenty of posts about timing belts and pulleys if that is what you are after, I am about to go through this process myself so I am keen to know what you find.

Buy the whole timing belt kit, including the tensioner. If your doing the work yourself read the threads and service manual before you start and make sure you have the tools (or make them) to lock the cams. Do the fan shroud model first so you don't need take apart the front end.
