No worries mate.

I will post the photos later anyway so that others can see the results and for future reference.

Recently just purchased a WH GC.

After reading several tyre threads I keep seeing Clarky refer to a 255/75/17 KO2.

Buggered if I can find such a tyre. Going to the BFG website they only list a 255/70/17 which is obviously a smaller tyre.

Did they make it once upon a time but not any more?

Yes they are still available just not a popular size here in Oz.
Purchased mine at the beginning of 2018, pic is from high country trip in March. I think I paid $320 a pop.

Still going strong with about 20,000km on them. Good for another high country trip in March and a Simpson crossing in July (if the $$$ stack up).

I want a mud tyre for my Cape trim in 2020 and if KM3's are not available I may go Yokohama GEOLANDAR G003 but at $450 each!!!

Well fitted my lift kit over xmas.

Just went and got a quote from Bob Jane T-marts on a set of 255/75/17 GEOLANDAR G003 M/T on +30 17x8 steelies. $450 a tire & wheel.

BFG KO2 A/T were actually $10 a tire dearer.

Ran out of time to go elsewhere for a comparison.

Anyone running the G003? Any good? Not too noisy on road?

And the end result all fitted up.

Done the pinch weld mod in the front and about to do the rear. Still rub but minimally.

Bit nosiy at 100kph but what muddy isn't.

Time to do a trip and really test them out.

They look great, I've got a slightly smaller (245/75/R17) that has almost the same side profile and I've managed to avoid the pinch weld mod so far but will be doing it down the track.
