Default Wrangler full of rain....

Hey Jeepers,
Any ideas on fixing my jeep after getting a few inches of rain in it? It's a 2015 JKU
Christmas night in Melbourne we had a reasonable storm. Been hot here the few days before....so roof was off. Filled up foot wells and cup holders. Maybe 3inches of rain.
Have the carpets out and the seats are drying OK.
My biggest problem are the indicators and wiper controls. I have no indicators and can't turn on lights etc. Car runs fine. Radio works fine, but screen is all white. No horn or steering wheel buttons and controls except cruise button works.
Any ideas for fixes?
I've checked fuses. All seem OK.
Have tried disconnecting battery but this doesn't help.

Hoping someone has had a similar experience....with a happy ending.
Cheers
Alec

the steering wheel buttons, wipers & lights are all related to the clock spring getting wet & shorting to earth.

Wouldn't that constitute fraud?

As for the original problem, talk to your insurance company and see if would cover the damage. Soaked electronics can easily be damaged permanently.

Only if they ever found out.

I think Rossco has hit the nail on the head. It sounds like the steering column has copped a gut full of water and shorted out the clock spring.

Haha that's rich!!!! Jeep started it by claiming that they warrantee their product when in fact there a thousands of cases of warrantee claims being rejected despite safety issues or generally unfit for purpose parts used in the build process.

Jeeps warrantee is the real fraud!!!!

Leaving the roof off in the rain is hardly Jeep's fault....I'd claim on insurance.
