Default SVL Gear Sets

I've got a set of 4.88 SVL gears and master install kits with Timken bearings but I've yet to have them installed as I can't seem to find any info good or bad on what these sets are performing like. I bought them on and whim and am based in NZ so loathed to try and return them. Has anyone on here used or heard anything about the SVL brand from Dana?

Cheers

AFIK SVL is a subdivision of a subdivision of Dana.

I can't speak to their quality..... but i also can't recall any particular brand having consistent problems either - so I would guess that they are no better or worse than any other.

But- that's just an "off the cuff" opinion.

Yeah someone said they are akin to the new Indian or Korean built Yukon sets... don't know how that makes me feel. There's a number of vette guys in the US using them. I think ive figured a good install kit and an experienced installer that will fine tune the connection between pinion and onion and I should be fine. Cheers for the input.
