Perth to Exmouth - Can you drive onto beaches
Hi Guys,
Looking for some sound advise.
I am from the ACT and from Stockton beach all the way down to Melbourne, I am pretty certain all the beaches have been blocked off, so you cannot drive your 4x4 onto the beach.
I have recently fallen in love with Turquoise bay in WA and plan to do a road trip from Perth to Exmouth.
I am wondering if you are allowed to drive onto the beaches along the coast line or if they have all been blocked off as well, including the final destination which will be Exmouth.
Any advice would be appreciated, even pics.. ta

Yes.
I recon about 90% of the sandy beaches which are environmently OK for 4x4s can be accessed.
I also recon that if you want to explore most of them you will be very sick of driving on beaches by the time you get to Exmouth.

Between Stockton Beach and Melbourne there is Blacksmith's Beach (Newcastle) and Boat Harbour (Sydney) just to name 2 that both are accessable by 4x4.
