Default Overland Mirrors on a Laredo

Anyone here upgraded their Laredo Electric Fold, heated, Door mirrors with those from an Overland with above features plus Puddle Lamps and Blind Spot Monitoring, want to know if its a simple plug and play. Noticed the Overland mirrors have 2 plugs ( 1x black 1x White ).

Not sure what the Laredo has, haven't ventured to the point of removing a door trim yet

Maybe someone whose replaced their mirrors with Clearview Towing mirrors can show some info in regards to wiring plugs for models stated above or if someone has a link for elec mirrors, cheers

You may be able to get the puddle lamps to work, but blindspot monitoring will need more tweaking than just the mirrors. I have a vague recollection of seeing a post from someone who tried the same, and discovered that the wiring harness wasn't there for the BSM...

It may only be a matter of turning it on using AlfaOBD or the like, but something tells me it will be trickier than that.

I reckon do a search on AlfaOBD or JScan as LeCheese writes...if the options are there for additional accessories you should be able to turn them on or off.
If the optional accessory is unavailable in the CPU it will tell you so...

Not really helpful to the OP, but I'm currently looking at the MSA towing mirrors. They don't have the power fold like the clearviews, but seem to get good reviews in general and are quite a bit cheaper.

TBH I rarely use the power fold and that's not what gets bashed in by the asshole parking next to you anyway.

Would be surprised if you could get the blind spot monitoring to work because the mirror really only has the warning light in it. The sensor is a radar behind each rear 1/4 panel which is also used for the cross path detection system. I would be very surprised if all these components were present but dormant in the Laredo.

But otherwise should work fine, you just may have no where for the Blindspot warning light to plug into. Won't effect the rest of the operation. Pretty shore Laredo has the mirror dimming std as well so that should all operate.
