Default 265/50r20 AT tyre recommendations

It's time to put some new shoes on and I'm looking for recommendations on a 265/50r20 AT.

Majority of my driving is on road, but I'm looking for an AT as I travel dirt/gravel roads and the driveway into my property can get a bit slippery/muddy when wet. I'm also looking for something with a decent load index to allow for towing.

Some brands I've looked at that seem to get good reviews are:

Maxxis Bravo AT711
Cooper AT3-4S
Cooper SRX
Pirelli Scorpion AT+

I'm interested in any real world experience with the 20inch on a JGC.

Thanks

Nitto's are fantastic imo...I had Ridge Grapplers on my WH, quiet compared to other MT's, just took a set of Trail Grapplers off thie WK2 as they were worn out. They were AT's.

Tried to get Nittos again this time around, I would have bought Trail Grappler MT's but it seems they just cannot be bought anywhere right now due to "supply chain" problems.

Ended up with Maxxis RAZR MT772's, they feel pretty good so far...but they are MT's not AT's...and 18's so not much help really...just the fact Nitto's are very good imo too...

Had Coopers (neither of those models listed, Zeon LTZs) in 275/55/20 and honestly wouldn't get another set of Coopers again. Got about 80k out of them, but they should've been changed about 10-15k earlier. Became bloody noisy, were dangerous in the wet from about 40k onwards, picked up 3 punctures across their life (tek screws/nails, so no tyre really stands a chance I guess).

Some people swear by Coopers, but there are better options around these days, especially at the price they are.

If price isn't an issue, the Pirellis should do you well for your sort of driving - for an AT they're often said to be a brilliant road tyre. I've heard a number of people who are really impressed by Maxxis recently (both AT711 and AT811), and similarly Hankook's offerings.

I've got Falken Wildpeaks (in 18s) and they're a great tyre, by all reports they're good in 20" guise as well, but probably more aggressive than you're after.

I'm running Pirelli Scorpion Verde 265/60/R18, a crossover road/off roader. Best all round tyres I've ever had for handling, wear and very quiet on road. Highly recommend if you're like me, mainly on the black top with average gravel / dirt now and then. Circa $360+ea. I'll be buying these again when it's time.

Thanks for the replies.

Since I started looking more seriously, there seems to be a lot of reports that Coopers aren’t all that good in the wet.

Hadn’t considered Nitro’s so will look into them.

I originally discounted the Falken Wildpeak because I thought their tread pattern was to aggressive. They always got good reviews but the tread pattern concerned me that they would have a short lifespan. However, I’ve dug deeper and found some good reviews regarding mileage (this was in 20” form).

I’ve always liked Pirelli’s, had them on a few cars over the years but never on a 4x4.

So I might narrow it down to Falken or Pirelli with a bit more research on the Nittos.

Mileage on the Wildpeaks won't be the issue, they'll just be noisier and a possibly a slightly worse road tyre than something less aggressive like the Pirellis

The Scorpion Verde was designed specifically for SUV's, I think they hit on a good hybrid design for road/off road if your off roading isn't too aggressive.
