Default New to the Jeep world

Hey guys,

Last week the cars in my driveway changed for the better

My missus went out and bought a 2012 JK on Tuesday and Saturday morning I picked up my TJ

I had been looking at a SWB 4X4 for the last 6 months or so and had been tossing up between a TJ/Sierra/Patrol

Her car is a bone stock JK hardtop apart from the chrome bumper we installed on the weekend

My TJ has a 2" lift, 32" Mudders, ARB front bar, Driving lights, Bestop Safari Bikini and a few other mods

We are based in the Chadstone area

Cheers,

Nathan

From zero to two Jeeps is hard work. I'd love to get a second one, but I'm afraid I couldn't keep up with the mod budget on two of these things. More power to you.

There is a lot more 'stuff' for the JKs it seems, I see a lot of guys post "but do they make it for a TJ?" so I hope you are satisfied with your TJ build at this stage.

DBOR is just down the road from you, and UNEEK is not much further away. I think Jeepkonnection is in Hallam somewhere, so all of them are within a short distance. let's see some pictures

Good stuff Nathan, double the fun.

I agree NTR, the gf mentioned she would like a JK shorty and said the words 'we could keep it stock', she must have seen me twitch when I agreed to the stock part and decided we can't afford two Jeeps

congrats on buying a TJ yourself, and even better getting the other half to buy a JK.

I have been able to convince my son that his first car should be a TJ, and he is now hooked. I would also love to trade in the wifes Kia sorento for a new Grand cherokee, but it would severely limit my mods budget for the next 12 months, so she is stuck with it for the time.

keep your eyes peeled on the forum for trips out, and if not too late, check out the DBOR website, and you might still be able to join the Melbourne topless day on the 23rd.
