Default Issue - is it my Torque Converter?

The problem is when I take my foot off the accelerator the jeep wants to slow down really quick. Today when doing 100kph it took about 3 secs to get to 80. It’s almost as if the torque converter is not disengaging properly, when selecting neutral the issue doesn’t occur and I coast along fine. The torque converter locks up fine in 4th.

I have also noticed I can’t select 1st gear until the tranny warms up as well. This is probably a non related issue though…

Does this sound like the TC or could it be the transmission? I serviced the transmission (filter and fluid) hoping it would help but no go.

I dont want to ask a stupi question, but did you have it in 3rd gear. The engine braking in that gear would do that.
