Default Torque converter crankshaft position sensor

Hi Guys

Advice needed, just had the 42rle auto gearbox rebuilt and have a new torque converter from Florida Torque, there is a position sensor on it which the crankshaft position sensor mounted in the gearbox bellhousing would read, however I cannot find any info on whether the four bolts that hold the TC in place are off set so that it can only be mounted one way or you have to position it with say the sensor adjacent to the reader when the motor is TDC on number 1 which brings me to the next question which one is number 1 and is there a notch or indicator on the front pulley or maybe the flywheel some where

Only thing is the gearbox is back in the vehicle but has not yet been started

JK was built in the middle of 2011, 3.8 ltr petrol

It would appear that it doesn't matter or I was lucky and fluked it, one chance in four, as the engine started and ran fine, probably reads flywheel rpm for the gearbox and torque converter

As its running now... doesn't matter

The JK uses Cam and Crank sensors to figure out what's going on, the crank ( flywheel / Drive Plate ) is used for RPM and to measure cylinder to cylinder acceleration variations ( ever wonder how it figures out it has a misfire - now you know ) whilst the Cam sensor is used to determine what phase ( suck, squeeze, bang, blow ) each cylinder is in.

The flywheel / drive plate "windows" aren't symmetrical, which is used as sort of a "missing tooth" sync system..... the exact position doesn't matter...

Anyway....... anythings better than pulling it the box out again
